Correct me if I'm wrong here, but aren't these two magazines written by the same people?

I'm fed up of each of these magazines contradicting one an other.

In one mag they'll say 'Oh, the X-Box version of Soul Calibur 2 will ultimately be the best and by far has the best extra character'

Then in the PSW mag they'll go on about how the PS2 version is best. This really does annoy me because it's like reading mags written by a bunch of kids.

Then again in X-Box world they say how powerfull the X-Box is compared to all other consoles, then in PSW they go on about how 'underpowered' the X-Box is.

The list goes on.

Again, if I'm wrong in thinking they are written by the same people then fair enough, my mistake. But it is annoying.

The only reason I buy the mags is for the DVD's, otherwise I'd just leave them on the shelf.

I really don't understand why people always have to argue about their consoles anyway, we're all part of the same gaming industry and we should maybe just stop slagging each console off and appreciate them for their own strengths.

*Sorry, but I was annoyed, rant over*

I think you'll find Gamecube's Soul Caliber has the best extra character......

I get them for the CDs as I do with most mags.

IGN + SR remove the need for mags. Although the Future Publication ones usually have a sense of humour which appeals to me.

Simple solution is don't buy mags. The majority talk bull sheet and the official ones like to rave on about how fantastic their console is compared to the lesser console which has just kicked its ass in the latest sales charts.

They make things up and change things around to make the consumer more interested thus making their magazine more interesting for the average gamer. Haven't bought one for months and months and I don't intend to any day soon.

They might just be published by the same people, but written by different guys.

Or something.

Whatever.

They're both fan boy rags. They don't seem to realise quite a few people own more than one next-gen console.

Yeah, and I remember in the PLAY magazine, (don't know if they still do it) they would take the mickey out of the Xbox on one page, and have an advertisemnet for it on the other.

Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
