Is it deliberately designed to give me answers that are hopelessly irrelevant to my question?
And yet I persist in using it from time to time, just hoping against hope for a miracle I know can't happen.
So, two things I'd like you all to do here:
1) Post an example or two of Jeeves' most useless responses you've gotten, so I can feel better that it's not just me.
2) Tell me if you've ever found AskJeeves even remotely useful. I haven't, and I'm wondering if there's anyone out there who has?
Here's a couple I got:
I asked:
"How many frames per second can the eye detect?".
I was given the option of finding answers to the following queries:
"How much are eye tests on the NHS?"
"Where can I learn about the eye condition AZOOR"
"How does the human eye work"
"Where can I find a symptom flowchart to help identify eye problems?"
"Where can I find a dictionary or glossary specialising in eyes and vision"
BOLLARDS. I COULD PULL A BETTER QUESTION INTERPRETER OUT OF MY....

I always use Google.
I can't remember what the questions were, but they were nothing to do with any type of wine, nor any type of alcohol.
It's not just you - it is pretty much useless.
Personally, I like Google and AltaVista.
Trust me, its gonna be the next best search engine
