How do you unlock the old Mario Karts tracks?

I done it by Completing mario GP on 150CC. You need all golds, and a grade of C or better on each cup.
To open up the extra tracks, you need to get loads of coins on each of the cups, something in the 100 region I think. I opened the first set of extra tracks by getting 126 coins on the Special cup. The are a set of extra tracks for each of the original cups, and they are all old Snes tracks.
