Can anyone help me plz?

I won in a competition a Football strip shirt and football, both signed by Alex Ferguson erlier this year.

A friend has asked if i would sell it to them, which I am happy to do, but i have no idea on its value.

Anyone?

The football probably won't get to much if you sold it. MAybe if you don't really want it you could raffle it off and donate the cash to a charity.

As for the shirt, I would also keep it and keep it in a good condition. It will be worth quite a lot of money and even more in the future.

A new staff memeber?.... Or one thats changed his name?...

Anyway..... I managed to get a program signed by all of the chelsea players and Ive been told it could be worth up to £200.

This is all of the players, but I still think that with Alex Fergusons signature it would be worth about the same.

The fact his signature is on a ManU sirt makes it even better!

By the way, how did you win it?

There is a weekly show on Talksport (1089mw) which goes out at about 1-2pm. I am not sure which day of the week it's on - Tuesday's I think. Anyway this show has a professional valuer of sports memorabillia who takes phone calls from listerners and values their goods on air. One guy phoned in the other day and said he had a signed cricket bat from Geoffrey Boycott - and was told it was worth about £3,000. Listen out for that show and give them a ring. Whatever the valuation I think you should definately hang onto it.

I am not a United fan but if I were you I would not sell it for anything less than £500. Your best bet would be to keep it. Seal it, box it and put it in the loft for 20 years. It will be worth a small fortune. Ferguson is Uniteds most successful manager and I doubt any manager will top his overall record. A signed shirt in 20 years time will be well worth having. Just imagine how much collectors would pay today if you had a united shirt from 1968 - signed by Matt Busby !!.

Not a clue man. Is it a Man utd shir right? Well the shirt is worth £40. Then how much value would you put on fergusons signature? he has been knighted, and is seen as a legend by all Man utd fans for winning the treble.

I say wait till he retires at the end of the season. It will be worth much more then.
