My PS2 is goddam broken and the stupid website and phone number give u jack all help, soooo does andyone know andy good numbers to call, places to take it, considering i live in North London.

I think that might depend on where you live, Sony sent one out to me in 5 days.

Use the technical support section of uk.playstation.com to get the number for returns. Sony will send you a new/reconditioned PS2 for £65 if you send the old one back out of warranty.

Alternatively, buy a second hand one for around the same price, which has one drawback (it's 2nd hand) and one advantage (it's quicker, Sony take around 3 weeks to send out new/reconditioned PS2s).

Also, does anyone know how much a PS2 on its own now costs, it will probably come down to buying a new one.......
