Top gig last night, the main band "Artie Bronson Collective" didn't show, so we got to headline and play for 40mins.
Support band "Lying Boss" were excellent, Stereo MCs/Senser/EMF kind of deal, worth checking out if you get the chance to.
I'm back in Surrey, so I'll be able to listen in.
Let me know.
I love being in this band
Neil Diamond...yeah...
We originally did "Borderline" by Madonna for another show and that went down a storm, they played it for a month solid, then asked us to do "Love on The Rocks" by Neil Diamond, but could we do it in a Jam/Buzzcocks style because the DJ loves those bands.
We did it and that got played, then we got a phone call from the breakfast show asking if they could play it.
So it's actually about 4 months old.
We bashed it out in an afternoon in a little studio in Southend.
Hurrah, the DJ loved it and he's emailed me to say they've been flooded with phone calls about it (08700 8001234).
So an old cover-song we did and forgot about got played.
Life is good.
