Sunday morning, getting a yogurt out of the fridge, when this huge brown thing fell of the top cupboard and on to my foot and ran all away across the kitchen floor and up the wall into the larder...
Twas this huge brown thing with a pink tail, now is it a mouse or a rat, whatever it is it has be killed, it must of got in last night when we had all the doors open for a BBQ...
SO it is in my kitchen now, somewhere, what is the easiest way to catch it???
My mum want to put poison down and some traps, but she said if I see it while hoovering the hoover it up... I’m not murdering a poor helpless mouse, sucking it up to have a slow painful death...
We are fitting in a new kitchen next week so when we are taking all the shelves down and the counters down we will see it, but I would like it gone before then, like today, or now...
Any quick answers to getting rid of it before more little guests alive???
I could buy a cat...

You can tell a mouse from a rat by size alone.

Typically a rat is at least 4 times larger than a mouse. Mice are also quite rare to see, I'd bet its a rat.
