I'm spreading posts out over several threads whenever something comes up, and I lose track of my own posts, so this is just a place to shove any questions and requests regarding modding..
Somewhat hindered because we can't advertise any urls on here (despite SR not stocking any of these products), I'm looking more for recommendations of suitable parts. Ideally, I'd like to get more people to try it too...I know Andi's done his Subara spray, very nice it is too, but it shouldn't just be one or two people respraying their boxen - I really despise beige PCs..
Trying to judge how many people will say "what's the point, it's only under my desk anyway"..too many. I started painting some drives after going to i8 and seeing some other cases, that alone just looks so much nicer than eggshell white..and pretty much endless possibilities, designs, combinations of ideas.
Basically, I'd like to use this for any ideas, requests and questions related to modding. I don't really expect many other people to use it, seeing as the total population of this forum is about 8 people, but it's worth a try. It'll do until SR do something about guides anyway..
Just as a start, can anyone recommend a good case (preferably sub £150) with a 400w PSU - which I'm going to need to stand any chance of having a secure overclocked Athlon system with that many fans, along with the rest of the PC and lights. Preferably black and aluminium/steel, but I can always spray it later. Looking for 10 bays really (6x 5.25" and 4x 3.5", 2 exposed), full tower.
Sooner the better really, I need to get a drive cover out for a custom baybus...

My case is basic but I really like it. Subaru blue with yellow buttons, Rally inspired, just needs some mud up the sides and a number.
