Watchdog got loads of viewers to fill in a form about their ISP. From this, they've taken all the feedback and created an unofficial list of the best and worst broadband suppliers around. (Freeola isn't on there at all, by the way, customers probably have better things to do than watch watchdog).

I'm personally contemplating changing myself, though BT came top it costs more than most other suppliers. I'm only getting 2mb at the max anyway, so I'm paying extra for less speed.

Switched to 8Mb here today, though I can't remember who with, all I did was follow the instructions my dad left me to do the switchover with.
It's loading my Custom Google homepage much faster than the 2Mb connection I had before, so thus far I'm enjoying change!

But Virgin had Broadband before they bought out Telewest. And they said something about it during the programme...
wait somethings not right here. Virgin bought telewest cable and esstentially they bought their internet service as well so telewest should be in it.
That said, i've throughly enjoyed using telewest very reliable and apart from the unbelievably fustrating installtion attempts i' agree they're decent.

I was with Pipex for a few years and I have to say they were flawless: I got 100% uptime and the only reason why I changed to Sky is that Pipex only offered 2MB at £20 per month whereas with Sky I get up to 16MB (I actually get between 4 and 5) for £10 per month.
If Pipex offered over 4MB for £20 or less then I'd switch back in a heartbeat.
