When it comes to consoles, I'm waiting.

What I'm waiting for is the GAMECUBE.

How long I have to wait, well I don't know.

Rumour states March 8th, but who knows if that's right.

So the days pass, the weeks pass, even months pass, and still I don't know.

Personally I'd rather have a definite date months away, than have it sprung upon me with just a few months remaining.

If I was impatient, I guess I could get myself an import machine, but the Japanese ones would have Japanese language games, and I really don't want to miss any aspect of a game, down to not being able to read the text. Plus there's the huge mark-up importers put on consoles and games.

So I wait.

The Japanese launch has come and gone, the USA launch is closing in. That will pass, and still we'll wait.

Any advantages in waiting?

Well I guess there will be more than 3 launch games, and we'll be able to pick the good games from the bad from American and Japanese feedback.

But still, until then we get tortured with videos and screenshots, reports of fantastic gameplay experiences and no news of a European launch.

So I'm waiting, waiting patiently, because to be quite honest, nothing other than the GAMECUBE will suit my needs.

Nintendo's trademarks are big delays, it comes with the Label, it'll be worth it, or so I keep telling myself.
I know Nintendo wouldn't spend hundreds of millions of $s on something they didn't think worthwhile, I mean! come on! look at the latest Ninty charm, the GBA pure genius! the GBC has been released since the N64 and that did pretty well, i'm hope they'll make some games like MGS for the Gamecube, but exclusive to the GC so noone else can have it, and they'll all be jealous! they will!

Well with Nintendo and release dates you have to take the 'bad' with the 'very bad' and the 'not so good' with the 'err... cancelled!'.

It's all part and parcel of being a fan of the best games company in the world!

knowing Nintendo's 'classic style' they will set a date then mere weeks before its release delay it due to 'translation problems'.

And still I am waiting for the Hot Chocolate that I told my 9-year-old sister to make me! Still bloody waiting... just because we've run out of 'Cadbury's Drinking Chocolate' doesn't mean she doesn't make any... we have 'ChocolatÈ' and 'Chocolate Break' but nooooooooooo...

Still I am waiting!

I am umming and arrrr-ing whether to get an American Gamecube... I don't see much point, I mean Christmas is expensive enough and we've just about time to finish off all the N64 and PSX games we didn't complete...

I will be happy to wait until late February or Early March... but April or May is pushing it... we get Luigi's Mansion while Japan are queueing for Mario Sunshine! No sale.... that's not cricket Miyamoto... come here and let me punch you!

I'm waiting!!
