Mon - At work
Tues - At work
Wed - Off work, at girlfriends doing stuff
Thurs - Off work, playing Islington in band in evening
Fri - At work, but XFM playing our CD and interviewing us in the morning.

Life dont get much better folks.
Spent today doing stuff, playing video games with my mate tonight.
Tomorrow?
Wake up when I feel like it, leisurely drive to Islington, play to 200+ people in my band
Friday - Wake up and be interviewed by Xfm just after they play a cover version we did of "Love on The Rocks" by Neil Diamond in a Jam/Style Council stylee.

Music, mates, video games and radio interviews and exposure.
I tells ya, sometimes life just smiles on you and things are wonderful.

No rants from me today or tomorrow, I'm a happy, blue-bird on my shoulder kinda guy.

Xfm, 104.9fm, www.xfm.co.uk

Friday morning between 9-10am for Parker on air.

I love life.

You may be having an excellent week, but my week so far has involved a bloke cutting open my scrotum, so could be better....

Talking of Xfm, another unsigned band doing the morning show cover recently was Imperial Leisure and they're also playing Islington this week. They do a kind of post Beastie Boys, indie kid Hip Hop type thing and they're getting better every gig. Highly recommended!

If you're looking for something to do on Friday check them out at The Rocket, Holloway Rd, Friday night.

Is anyone going to check out Parker?

Bloody typical!

The only week I've been back in Essex for ages, and you're playing in London!

I'll listen in to XFM though, over the 'net. Run up my parents phone bill, but it's got to be worth it, surely.

La-dee-daa...

Dont have to go to bed cos I dont have to get up until..at least midday.
Hurrah for not working and playing in the evening.

We're playing with "The Artie (something) Collective" and "Lying Boss" - no idea who they are or what they sound like.
Got loads of people coming, including a couple of Xfm Djs. Zane Lowe and Steve somethingorother (does Saturday lunch slot).

Sorry, I'm not trying to show off or anything, I'm just really, really pysched about this and want to tell everyone, and not in a "I'm so goddamn cool" way either, more in a "Look at me! Look what I'm doing! This rocks! This shouldn't be happening to me!!" like a kid on Xmas morning that discovers all the presents in the world.

It's really odd hearing your stuff on the radio, doesn't feel like it's you.
Alls I know is, if..no, WHEN we make more of a name for ourselves and play places like Sheperd Bush Empire etc, the SR Posse are on the guest-list.

*big stupid smile*
Can this life get any better right now?

Where you playing? Hope & Anchor aint it?

Christ if you've got 200+ people turning up you'd better let the venue know cos trust me it only holds about 50!

Yep.

Hope and Anchor.
A small place we've played before. The saying,I believe, is "It'll be rammed"

Excellent.

Playing Deus Ex all morning, now off to load stuff up and drive down there.

Very pleased with the help given by your staff. They explained technical details in an easy way and were patient when providing information to a non expert like me.
