Did any of you guys play Crime Fighter? You can download it from CNET and places like that. In the game you had to run around the city starting a crime empire. You would build up your gang and do jobs that ranged in pay and risk. Then you could go about collecting protection money and doing robberies.

The gameplay was a bit on the tedious side especially the shoot outs but I'm sure that Maxis could do a good job of it. You need huge maps possibly set in the great cities of the world. You need loads of shops to rob and things to spend your cash on. It could be like The Sims but without the living through the day bit. You would play when it came to going to work. Take the Ferrari out of the garage and head for your HQ.

Then phone up the boys and plan their days activities (knocking off rivals, robbery etc). Then you could go along on one of their jobs or just go out and look for trouble yourself.

The idea of the game would be to stay alive, stay out of the nick and make as much wonga as possible by taking care of your rivals before they get to you.

Would you be a bank robber, drug dealer or steal cars to order. Or you could be a hitman.

Each job would envolve a different aspect of gameplay. Get away driving could be like "Driver", Bank Robbery could be like "Max Payne" sneaking around an office stealing documents would need the stealthy gameplay of "Syphon Filter 2". Building your empire would be like "Sim City" or the house bulding part of "The Sims".

It'll be great

Have you played Gangstars? great game, I had about 13 cars and 20 men with Tommy guns, I ruled that game until I got everyone hunting for new talent and got them to blow up the police station, silly me, they all died and the cars got parking tickets. :)
