Has anyone covered this news yet? Where Nintendo are parking outside the road to Earl's Court where the Playstation Experience is being held for three days in August, in a 40 TONNE truck? Cheeky if you ask me.

I agree with Snuggly - on the relatively pathetic approach Nintendo has on advertising in Europe.

Sure, there are a few TV adverts, but that's not enough!

An example of this being Dringo.

See the ;p after my post? That indicates a joke.

I'm not anti-Nintendo, I'm not anti-anyone. I'm not pro-anyone. I have all three consoles. It was actually a wry, Frasier-style comment on Nintendo's lacklustre European marketing policies, an area I think you'll find even the most rabid 'pro-Nintendo' fans will happily rant on for about an hour.

So turning up to a Sony sponsered ECTS will ensure a fair showing of games?

Not really. The only new game they have on show is Mario Kart. The other "highlights" include Four Swords linked up. To be honest, I'm not all that excited about the truck myself, but if it's right next to Earl's Court (or nearby), then I may as well go. If Microsoft do something similar (maybe a tent) then I'll be even happier.

Heh, come into our large warm PlayStation Experience where you can play the latest PS2 games in comfort or go play some Nintendo games in a truck outside.

I'd suggest a truck is about as far as Nintendo's marketing budget can stretch, if I wasn't such a professional.

;p
