I think it's The Sims at the moment but Pokemon are giving them a run for their money.

Both. I bought the sims on PS2 and its cack. Bought it on PC and after a while just gives you a head-ache. Be quality if it was an 18 though, cos then instead of having those dodgy "scuffles" where one bloke gets pi**ed with another, you could actually see one bloke lay another out. Or better yet for e.g interact with chair - sit on it or pick it up and lay some posh bloke out with it!

Pokemon too gets real annoying so I'm inclined to say both

The Sims is a bad game and Pokemon is a good game...

That simple.

The Sims is crap.
Pokémon rules.

The Pokemon franchise is annoying; the crappy TV Show, the crappy films, the cards and all the other rubbish it's cursed its name with. The game itself, however, is amazing, and you'd have to be very narrow-minded not to admit it.

I don't hate it, I hate the fact that a superb series of games are ridiculed thanks to the image it's created. You'll be hard-pressed to find any handheld game better.

Except that image has made Nintendo more money than you care to imagine... so I'm sure you'd let it off.

And besides the Cards spawned a VERY VERY VERY good Trading Card game spin off GBC title, the cartoon spawned Pokemon Yellow a very nice enhancement to red and blue as well as the clever Pokemon Snap.

So was the franchise all that bad?

Pokemon's the best.

I didn't like the Card Game at all, to be honest; whilst games like Pokemon Pinball were great spin-offs, I just couldn't get enthralled by playing a game cards of Pokemon, it's not the same.

As for Pokemon Yellow, it was good but more of a cash-in than anything else; anyone with Pokemon Red or Blue wouldn't have felt the need to buy it.

And I don't see Pokemon Snap is involved with the TV Show, it's a great game but... wha?

Pokemon merchandise

The trading card game was one of my most favourite Pokemon GBC games... if a little shorter than the bigger games... but it is so excellent that after mentioning it I just went to find it and played it again :)

Todd the photographer was a character from the Pokemon TV series shortly after spawned a game entitled Pokemon snap.
