What are the top 10 games on PS2 that are out now to buy?

As I was thinking about selling my Dreamcast and moving over to PS2 depending on how good the games are and what games there are.

Make sure you get a PS1 memory card aswell as a PS2 memory card, as Final Fantasy 9 is for the PS1. It can still be used on the PS2 but you need a PS1 memory card to save the game as PS1 games cant use PS2 memory cards to save data.

I am going to buy a PS2 nearer to Christmas and keep my
Dreamcast too.

I will probably get: Final Fantasy 9, Red Faction, and SSX

what about the old boy smugglers run thats amazing thats why I am getting it then getting smugglers run 2 on pre order :P

Well if I had to choose ten it would have to be:

1. Gran Turismo 3 (predictable perhaps)
2. Extreme G 3
3. Red Faction
4. Formula One 2001
5. World Championship Snooker 2002
6. Crazy Taxi
7. MX2002
8. SSX
9. Tekken Tag
10. Shadow of Memories

Similar I guess, but from what I remember, the DC only had dry patches didn`t it? :-)

now u no what it is like to be a dc owner you get a dry patch of amzing games then they release ten in one month!

theres too many good game coming out. I'd be quite happy waiting til March for MGS2.

It'll give me a chance to Finish Devil May Cry, Baldurs Gate, Max payne..............

Metal Gear 28th December?

Firstly I don`t think that`s right, it`ll probably not make it to these shores until March next year.

Then there`s the fact that the release date is after Christmas. It makes sense that people would have money to go and buy it at this stage, but there will also be lots of people who want it FOR christmas as well.

It`d be much more sensible to release it a week or two before christmas, and let both the early buyers, and the after christmas buyers have a look.
