No time for entrances ñ weíve got a long match ahead.

Shamrock (Cong Man) and Angle are in the ring. Remember people, this is an Ankle Lock match, so you can only win with the aforementioned maneuver.

Shamrock starts off by running at Angle, trying to take his legs from underneath him in a Spear like move. Angle moves, and Shamrock misses, but he gets up and tries again. Angle again moves, and looks at the crowd, laughing at Shamrock. Shamrock, being a veteran of the sport, takes his chance and takes Angles legs away.

He picks up both of Kurtís legs, and drops a knee into the thigh of Kirks right leg. He tries to repeat this, but Kirk moves his leg, and uses it to sweep Shamrocks legs from underneath him. Kurt stands up and attempts to lock on a spinning toehold, but Shamrock pushes him off with one foot. Kurt sprawls to the floor on his belly, and Shamrock jumps up and tries to set up an Indian Deathlock.

Our Olympic Hero pushes up with his legs, and leans backward, arching his back right over. With his hands he grabs Shamrocks head, and he has some sort of bizarre submission locked on! Shamrock soon counters it, however, by rolling to one side, which slams Kurt into the mat. Shamrock uses this slight distraction to roll detach himself from the submission, roll over, and lock on an Ankle Lock!

The move takes Angle completely by surprise. He is down for a bit, taking the pain, just working out what to do. He realises that there is no DQ in this match, and thus no rope breaks. He will have to fight his way out.

He tries to stand up on his one leg, and does so. He throws his leg over, and hits an enzuragi, making Shamrock release the hold. Rest time, as both wrestlers are down.

They both (typically) stand up at the same time, and Shamrock goes for a punch. Angle ducks, and applies a waistlock. Shamrock reverses, spinning into a waistlock of his own. Angel elbows him in the face twice, but Shamrock ducks a third elbow and that puts Angles arm in the precise position for a backdrop. Unsurprisingly, Shamrock takes this opportunity to hit a backdrop.

Shamrock lifts Angle up, and shoves our Olympic Heros head between his (shamrocks) legs (donít think about that the wrong way if your reading, Kid Rock). He hooks the armsÖit looks like heís going for that move we saw in the first round, folks! He hits it, slamming Kurtís face right into the canvas! It looks as if he may be using this as a finisher now. Shamrock crawls acrossÖmakes the coverÖ1Ö2Ö3Ö4? The ref doesnít count, because this can only be won via Ankle Lock. Shamrock curses, and the crowd laughs at him.

Angle gets lifted up, and Belly To Belly Suplexed. Shamrock looks at the crowd, and mocks Angle by lying atop the turnbuckle!

Shamrock then runs at Kurt, who has just staggered up. He tries a clothesline, but it is ducked. Shamrock bounces off the opposite ropes, Kurt lies flat on his belly, and Shamrock jumps over him. Shamrock back from the ropes again, and Kurt takes him down with a drop toe hold.

Kirk tries to drop an elbow on the downed Shamrock, but Shamrock rolls out the way. Kurt jars his elbow on the canvas (a move that he will pay for dearly later on), but still tries to stand up. He gets onto all fours, but Shamrock delivers a devastating kick to his arm, and Kurt falls flat on his face. Ken grabs the hurt arm, and tries to lock an armbar in (the type where the victims arm is between the attackers leg), but Kurt reverses and pulls Shamrock into a roll up with his arm.

No count, because you canít win from pins. The two jump away from each other, and have a rest break. The crowd cheer in appreciation (although you readers probably wonít be).

Shamrock runs at Kurt, and Kurt catches him with an armdrag. Kurt doesnít release the arm, and he pulls Shamrock up for another one. He still doesnít release, but this time he tries an armbar. Shamrock is too clever to get caught though, and he stands up. Before Angle works out what is going on, Shamrock delivers another stiff kick to the arm.

Angle falls to the floor on his belly, clutching his arm. Shamrock stomps on the arm a couple of times, before picking Kurt up and whipping him into the ropes. When Kurt gets back, Shamrock launches him right up into the air, and when he comes down Shamrock grabs the injured arm, letting the rest of the body fall. This wrenches the arm, and Kurt shouts out in pain.

Shamrock holds the arm, and successfully locks an armbar, this time a version using a knee. Angle taps, but it makes no difference as this match can only be won via Ankle Lock. Shamrock looks like he could be breaking Angles arm.

Angle crawls to the ropes, pulling himself along with his one free arm. He gets there, but it makes no difference ñ the ref canít make Shamrock let go. Angle climbs the ropes using his one free hand, alleviating some of the pressure on his arm. Shamrock smiles evilly, and lets go of the armbar. Kurtís face is visibly relieved.

Shamrock whips Angle into the ropes, and when Angle gets back he throws him out of the ring, but holds the hurt arm. The result is devastating ñ Angles body hurtles between the middle and bottom ropes, whilst his arm is abruptly stopped. To make it worse, Shamrock twists Angles arm up between the top and middle ropes, trapping it, before jumping through the ropes and catching the arm between his legs. He then hangs upside down, in this amazingly complex, amazingly original armbar.

Angle taps out with furor, but it makes no difference. Shamrock drops off of the hold after about 10 seconds, and Angle falls to the floor, mindless with pain. Shamrock gives his arm a few hard football kicks, before standing Angle up and slamming the arm onto the ring apron. Angle is pretty much sleep walking ñ his eyes are glazed over. Shamrock rests the arm on the ring apron, and kicks Angle in the stomach, making him bend over, so that the hurt arm is now bridged between Angles body and the apron.

Shamrock takes a few steps back, runs at Angle, and Scissor kicks his arm! Angle falls to the floor, clutching the arm that has taken so much punishment. How will he apply an Ankle lock with his arm hurting that bad?

Shamrock jumps up onto the barrier dividing the fans from the ring, and leg drops Angles arm from there. He then chucks Angle into the ring, and hits a release Northern Lights Suplex. He lifts Angle up again, and does a Urinage Suplex. Heís just playing now.

Shamrock punches Angle into a corner. He then retreats to the opposite corner, and runs back at Angle. Angle ducks, and tries to hoist Shamrock to the outside. Shamrock is clever enough to grab onto the top rope, so he stays on the apron. Angles back is turned, and so Shamrock locks on a sleeper from the apron! Angle seems out of it. The ref doesnít bother to do the arm lifting thing (it never works anyway). Angle, with one last burst of strength, hoists Shamrock over the ropes, slamming him to the mat! The crowd pop like anything!

Shamrock jumps straight back up, and he exchanges punches with Angle. Angle ducks one of Shamrocks punches, spins around to his back, and hits an Olympic Slam!!!

With one last burst of strength, Angle locks on an Ankle Lock! Itís hurting his arm so much, he is crying out in pain. Shamrock wonít tap, although his Ankle is being snapped in two. Oh dearÖShamrock has made it into a half standing positionÖ looks like an enzuragi.

Shamrock does indeed go for an enzuragi, but Angle ducks his boot at the last minute! He locks the Ankle Lock fully on again!

Shamrock taps! Angle lets go immediately, and falls to the floor clutching his arm. EMTs come out to attend to him, and Shamrock rolls out of the ring, cursing.

What an astounding match, and I thank you for reading these 1,400 words.
