If too many people import games, Nintendo of Europe don't do so well. Nintendo of Europe have to pull out of the market and either Nintendo of America step in and release an NTSC system with PAL TV compatabilities, or leave people to import their consoles and games with no technical support.

If too many people import games, Nintendo of Europe don't do so well. Nintendo of Europe have to pull out of the market and either Nintendo of America step in and release an NTSC system with PAL TV compatabilities, or leave people to import their consoles and games with no technical support.
If SR started selling import games then Ninty Europe would stop their supply of offical PAL games - put simply.

Goblin don't seem that bothered about Nintendo, the whole import game situation is very odd, i really can't see why Nintendo are bothered that people buy import games to use in the U.K.

My brother got an Australian version of Banjo Tooie, and I got a couple Australian Dreamcast games from SR.
But they're released even later in Aussie-land and they're PAL, so it makes no difference to the consoles.

They used to. I got about 8 silly american n64 games for about 20 quid. Came in a big box too. :)
