Hey everyone, about a week ago my computer was broken by a sudden power surge doing some kind of damage to my OS (Windows XP) after that I had to figure out how to fix it. I eventually managed to reload Windows XP but i have lost all my file i had before and can't even find where programs like Microsoft Word, Frontpage, Excel etc are. Can anyone help me locate those files? I have no idea where they could be. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Go to Tools > Accounts > Add.. > Mail

The insert the a name for it, the actual email address, select POP3 from the drop down menu, put in the icoming mail server addy (pop3.blah.blah) and the outgoing SMTP server (smtp.blah.blah).

Your account name and password follows, then finish.

I had to do a clean installation as the memory in my computer had gone wrong some how and couldn't hold all my files, the previous os and the new one.

Anyway thanks for the help with the packages. One more question though. How do you set up e-mail accounts in Outlook Express on POP3?

Yes the word packages are loaded on seperatly, is youre HDD still showing up?
If not then that may of been broken and that is what would of had all of youre files on it.

Or when you installed XP again did you go install, or format and install.
If you formatted then you will of lost everything and there is no way to get it back.

Word, Excel etc are part of Office, not your OS. You'll have to load them seperately.
