I keep getting error messages in Medal of Honor Allied assault: Spearhead. It says something along the lines of:

"dm_hit_notify" needs an alias in ubersound"

What the hell does it mean and can anyone help at all?

How do you extract something from a map using WinRar?

Right, did some more research.

It appears that some custom maps have Ubersound in them, when they don't need it. I need to use WinRar, take the Ubersound out and it'll be fine.

Not owning spearhead, all I can tell you is that it sounds like the dm_hit_notify event (presumably a sound made that means you're getting shot, possibly in deathmatch(?)) Needs a set of instructions (probably to play the sound), in the form of an alias in this 'ubersound'.

Do you have any scripts or mods installed?

I realise this is far from helpful, but maybe it will shed some light on the situation.
