Unfortunately the internet is still not as high on the agenda of the every day household items as it should be.
Broadband and other means of faster connections to the super highway will in the end make instant messaging, netmeetings as popular as the phone.
I read in a magazine about the future of the internet concerning football games from the premiership, which will be screened live on the net once connections pick up and broadband comes much more affordable.
It wont be a case of having the pc and booting up etc etc etc,it`ll be more a switch like you turn the tv on now and will give u immediate access into search engines and personal use with text,e-mail,voice chats and netmeets.
I myself am lucky enough to have 2 connections to the net although both are only 56k.
When it comes to playing games like fifa and most sport games i use a modem dial if possible after getting the trust of the other user to supply me with there phone no,using msn/yahoo as a means of communication to get to know each other and there favorite games first.
So if there are other users out there that spend a majority of the day on-line and am looking for fellow people to play games with like fifa especially but first person shooters are just as welcomed then feel free to add me on your msn.
My e-mail [email protected].
I have posted this in the forum to also find out what is the best connection that i should change to on my unlimited access line i have through aol which costs me 14.99gbp each month.
Im looking for a much faster, reliable connection and would like to hear your experiences with these adsl, broadband companys.
I have checked to see if i have adsl available in my area and am lucky enough if i choose to sign up to it but for 40gbp each month it seems a bit steep, any stories good or bad will be welcomed.
