i'm in a daze at the moment, I bought a 'Socket A' AMD CPU but I realise that the motherboard I have is a 'Slot A' now, this might seem like the question needs a simple answer but i'm new to this, so be kind.

Q: can these two componants go together or will I need to change the Mobo/CPU?

thankyou for your time.
