Naha, cos we were having a barbeque last night, and you know, invited some people round. Well my little cousin can only be described as a pain in the butt, he's 10 years old, always running around like an idiot and breaking things. So anyhoo, I get the PS2 out and switch on Vice City, it catches his attention. He sits down, watches it for a while, and then I just left him there playing it. He was sound all night.
So unless I find he's went out and killed a load of people or smacked his Mum with a baseball bat, then I think all these critics are wrong, and in actual fact, games are more of a means to calm people down. If however he has smacked his Mom, then I could be in a bit of bother, mmmmmm.
:)
proof?
a teenager/youth sitting indoors playing a game for a few hours until late at night is less likely to be smashing things up and stuff than a kid who is out with mates.
the most harm games can do is make a child an outcast, and the only people they would be comfortable with are other outcasts.
:D
