"Look how games keep getting better and better...."

It seems that most games created now are alot or that tiny Or improved since its predessesor. There are many examples which i could go into, although i wont bore you but i will mention a few ,the first one is Gran Turismo 3 ,I tend to notice small things like the gleem of the car as it passes under the midday sun, or the sheet of mist strewn across the track, even the rays of light shooting through the canopy of tree tops aswell as all the different precise sounds of the roaring engine (in some cases), and the new AI of the surrounding competitors. another prime example would be metal gear solid 2 (ive only played the demo) the way you can go into first person shooting mode, also the way that when you are on the deck of the ship the rain patters down onto your face, and the movement of snakes hair and bandanna. Other things like disposing of corpses by throwing them away or locking them tight in lockers leaving no trace to there fellow guards that you have been there.

there other games i couyld name ill give you a breif idea of some:Smackdown 3,Tony Hawks 3,Klonoa 2,ISS 2000,Tekken Tag, Resedent evil,......

i see your point i mean i would like maybee 1 more metal gear ,but i wouldnt really like any more lara games,though the good thing about football games is that they can go on forever.and any other sport to mention it.

Yeah its good that sequals from one console to another can be improved so much, but do we really want to be playing mario or snake for the years to come?

We need a new serge of good, quality characters to grow and love.

i think its great thatgames are improving and moving on and now it is generally like from PS to PS2 or from 64 to GC the good thing about that is that it is making games far better sequels for the far better machine

Games will get better and better the more consoles improve, and this is really no bad thing is it? Everyone wants to play improved games all the time, but then, there is only so much you can improve.

What i mean is that eventually you can only use the same formular before it becomes boring, like Tomb Raider and Fifa games.These examples have been re-made over and over again to the point when they are pointless. I think its time that developers start to think about new, better and origanal ideas. Thankfully, this is starting to happen.
