Every one says smackdowns better than no mercy because its on ps1 and they hate 64's.

Well i think smackdown sucks!

SMACKDOWN-CREATE A PLAYER:
PUZZLE GAME- the worst create a player!
not many moves to chose from!

NO MERCY-create a player!
tons of moves,faces,costumestaunts'extras!

more too come..................next time!

I would have to agree, no mercy is definetly the better game. The create a player is definetly better and the seasons are great. Smackdown is good but just not quite as good as no mercy

I think that Smackdown is a good game, for a quick go. I think that the season mode sucks and becuase of the loading screens that pop up every five minutes it wrecks the game. As I said, the game is OK for a quick go or with 3 mates, but other than that I dont think its much good.

Then theres No Mercy which is undoubtidly the best game I have ever played. Everything is perfect about it, the CAW, CAPPV, The Season and the multiplayer. The game is for much more technical players although the ladder and backstages can be fun.

Without a doubt in my mind No Mercy is much better than Smackdown 1 or 2

Smackdown. Better looking.
No Mercy. Better system of gameplay.

I have both. That is the advantage of having an N64 and a PS2 (using backwards competability for SD)

No Mercy by God only knows. There are many things I hate about Smackdown! The entrances, ther create a player option, how bad the moves look. I remember doing an elbow drop off the top rope and he hit him, bounced up and down a few times and got staight back up. Smackdown! is hard to control, rubbish moves and a badly planned style of gameplay. On the other hand, No Mercy is a detailed, in-depth wrestling game with well animated moves, lots and lots and lots and lots of moves and I could play it forever. I actually just finished a tag team ladder match. Sure, there are one or two faults about No Mercy. The entrance videos are overall awful and the graphics are still a little square and blocky for the N64. But, it's gameplay that matters, not presentation and No Mercy takes the biscuit.
