"Graphics problems with.....vice city?"

Even though my card is meant to be expensive, high-quality and rather powerful, my Geforce FX5600 still has serious graphics problems with vice city.

just imagine a normal game screen, but as if a grizzly has come along, and tore up the whole picture, pulled the textures and models WAY out of proportion, and then battered every 3D model with an incredibly heavy mallet.

any help?

Nah it was to do with textures not being converted to high res on powerful video cards when you've got a high frame rate, so they looked all smooth and baad. And sometimes things like benches and lamposts didn't load, but still existed invisibly.

Theres a widescreen option in the game, maybe thats on if the picture is all out of proportion.

hmm, the latest detonator XP seems to have fixed it completely. woohoo.

Mus be Geforce related problem, Radeon runs it okay. Sounds like a driver type conflict or something.

Put the frame limiter on. I have the same problem :(
