Recently Nintendo has confirmed that, with the help of Sega developers and even a few Core/Eidos(UK) designers- a brand new idea of gaming will enter the games list for the Nintendo Gamecube!
The Core/Eidos designers have decided to add a hint of their heroine Lara Croft to the Gamecube but not make her as the main character or follow any styles from the previous Tomb Raider titles. These designers want SOMETHING ORIGINAL that made Goldeneye and Perfect Dark on the Nintendo 64 so successful!
Sega will use various ideas taken from the 'House of the Dead' series and Core/Eidos have decided to use Lara Croft, already mentionned, and some features from 'Timesplitters' as the multiplayer idea to be added to this long-awaited game only announced today exclusively from Japan due to the high demand from the Japanese to have a new flavour of gaming into their technology filled lives!
Nintendo, however are fully-backing up both Sega and Core/Eidos, from the UK, by adding classic favourites like Mario,Luigi,Joanna Dark,Yoshi and others to give this world a spectacular game only to be released on the Gamecube!
Plans to start making the game will commence around January 2003!
It's a long wait but this game looks like the wait is totally worth it!
More information coming soon!

(This information was translated from the new Nintendo Gamecube magazine released in Japan a few days ago. This information was found written in Japanese script on the 'Nintendo News' page in the magazine therefore further news on this topic is classified to Nintendo only)!

It'll be a multi character competition - possibly deathmatch.

I'd be interested to see what sort of game came out.

It would be nice if a several other companies volunteed their characters too.

How about the Worms...
