Question is, will the dvd playback be quieter? I doubt it. Too loud for my liking but I put up with it because I'm cheap.

It's a bit nicer. I don't like the noise the DVD playback makes either. Or on Xbox. But it's one of those things.

It says they've reduced the fan noise by 75% - that's some difference!
