I've e-mailed them regarding the problem, explaining what we've done to try and overcome it, and asking what our options are from here.
Demon are very poor lately - having internal problems week after week it seems.
We're having problems at work - over 1200 messages waiting for delivery.
Demon are having internal routing problems, but say there isn't a problem with the mail; but clearly there is.
I'm watching the POP3 and SMTP activity in real-time, and mail *is* arriving, but then for no apparent reason, it just stops.
All I can put it down to is that the routing problem is intermittently interfering with the POP3 connection.
Try pinging the POP server. Not sure if it will work, but it's wort a try. Get the server from Outlook, then click start -> run, and type "ping", then a space, then put the server in. It will probably look like:
"ping pop.demon.co.uk"
See if you get a reply at all. If you do, then your account may have been suspended. Do you dial up to Demon? If not, they may think you've stopped using your account. Contact them to re-activate it.
If not, then I have no idea. Sorry!
