Hello dudes, is anyone I know still around?

Can you still buy cube games anywhere but e-bay? I've been thinking Pikmin.
I've still not played resi 4 yet, it's still sat there in it's cellophane. I did start batallion wars though. Lots of fun, except very odd how it's so bubbly and upbeat while your men kill and die on the battlefield.

Metroid 2 - not played, probably never will

PN03 might get a look in.

Tony hawks, beyond rod and emu, donkey konga 2 and jungle beat, all got a bit of a spin, but not actually much play.

Yet I want to buy pikmin 2, and probably pikmin 1 (I traded it once).

My parents have now played a wii. I've still never even seen one in the flesh(/plastic).

I don't think I'm really a gamer any more :-(

Yeah, I think the Wii is backwards compatible. We are in a PAL area though so we don't get NTSC games, which is probably the reason Hedfix brought up the point about a trick to get the Wii to play NTSC games.

Just a thought, I may be wrong.

I thought they were going to make the wee backwards compatible?

Did Ninty see a chance to shaft the consumer again? *Rolls eyes*

I think Ninty are like Tony Blair - Rationally you know they're as bad as the tories (Sony), but you just can't bring yourself to hate them.

They'll fix it with a firmware update so don't get too happy.

Also apparently there's trick that gets a Wii to play Gamecube NTSC games. So if you get one you might want to look into that.

Not for under £15-20. I suppose places like Amazon marketplace and other second hand sites would be the best bet if you don't want to use ebay.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
