I was just wondering if there is something wrong with my PS2 after the warranty is gone, will Sony still replace the machine??Sorry for a silly question but I cant remember what happened when I had to repair my PSone

I used to keep my PS1 on top of my TV, but then one day my bro walked past and cought the wire to the pad, thus pulling the PS1 off the TV and it dropped onto the cold hard carpet.

You can guess what happened then... yeah, it lasted another 3 years and 5 more falls. Thats what i call a tough cookie.

However, i keep my PS2 now in a safe with a sercurity camera to be safe. :)

No matter how many times I "accidentally" dropped my N64 I couldn`t break it :-)

My PSone didnt get broken.Some one undeliberately stepped on it.:(

None of my games consoles have ever broke down. But i suppose the PS2 is my first non-nintendo console...

Well thats a thing , you see.When my PSone broke I got it replaced for free and it was roughly a year after I bought it.But was it more than one year or less then one year.Hmmm.I didnt even buy my PSone in this country.And Sony still replaced it

After the warranty period expires, Sony will repair or replace the unit, but will charge you accordingly.

Although having said that, a friend of mine had his PSone replaced by Sony when it was well beyond the warranty period.

It would be wrong to *expect* that, but it can happen.
