Time to right a topic meh thinks.
Not really sure what....
*Thinks*
I know, at the week-end I was up the East Coast of Scotland in a place called Crail just south of St Andrews. Now I don't really like going but my parents love the place and to be honest is a very nice place and has the best chippy in the world.
Anyway so up there I was, lovely sunshine, the sound of waves, great scenery, smell of coal burning and the old houses.
Now where do I live?
East Kilbride... a piece of crap. Situated south of Glasgow it was formed from a villiage after WW2 as a New Town. I'm sure then it was very nice and modern. Even when my parents grew up here it was nice and lovely green stuff.
BUT now and even then it is full of concrete... a big piece of concrete in the middle of Scotland. No history, no nice scenery, concrete, full of roundabouts, no football team, no rugby team, buildings not maintained, areas turning into drug ridden dives and full of morons.
It can get really depressing... sure there are worse off places all over the world including Scotland but I hate it. It is depressing.. the only thing I like in it at present are my friends, family, my house and another certain person.
For teenagers there is nothing... for the 6th largest town in Scotland there is nothing. A cinema and a bowling alley and a crap club full of morons.
AH well thats enough :-)... when I'm at Glasgow Uni it should be a bit better and after that I'm outa 'ere guvner.
So what do you think of the area you live in... Grix can shut up because he knows I'm envious of his place.
This is why I much prefer to be at University than on the summer break.
Muaha.
pity it isn't magic.
