How do i beat this darn beast Evrae (Final Fantasy X ) it's driving me mad!!!!! I dont have ultima or flare which is what someone suggested in the walk throughs. I just wondered if there was any special way or hav i just gotta keep at it?
Why does everyone have trouble with Evrae?
I kicked his booty first time around.
Key to bosses:
Train up before hand
All overdrives full,
Use Slow and Haste

Or you can get Wakka's attack reels from playing Blitzball and kill virtually every single boss in one attack. Not much fun that way but it works.
Wise words from SSXPro, as annoying the random battles are, spend and hour wandering around and your stats will soon grow.
Key to all Final Fantasy bosses: Go back and do some more random battling. If you rush through, you miss stuff, you miss items, you miss skills, you miss points builders, and you miss a lot of the fun. Just spend an hour running around exploring, and fighting whatever comes at you, then return to Evrae to kick him in, and you'll find yourself capable of much more impressive attacks, hopefully enough to win the battle.
