The film is unlike any other I have ever seen, you really need to be in a thinking mind before going into it. Why? Because it deals with issues that are extremely complex and much like those dealt with Terminator/2.
I was breathtaken by the movie, the storyline was so thought provoking that any person wanting to just enjoy a film would have only liked it for its TeddyBear (which featured heavily).
But even the Teddy had an alteria motive, I will let you think that one out yourself, it represents something for all of us... thats all I can say.
I left the cinema with too many thoughts in my head, the film had actually managed to affect me and my thoughts, Steven Speilberg through the use of a child actor has maybe shown what is wrong with some of the world, he has (in my opinion) directed the best mind playing film ever.
Empire gave this film 5/5 for many different reasons, it said it was just sheer brilliance.
Maybe the reviewer from Empire wasn't telling his true personal opinion, because to real get touched by this film you would have to be able to relate some of it to a personal experience and that is why I feel it is a marmite film.
So then, anyone who actually wants to go to a film to enjoy it, dont go and see AI, because you will be bored for a few hours, anyone who wants the most incredible read into film ever, please go and see and think about AI.
If you can relate, then you will be able to tell by the ending, for if it brings a tear to your eye, then you will need to think why?
Anyway, thanks for reading.
What a film

I saw the film again last night as my dad wanted to see it but didn't really want ot go on his own so he offered to pay for my ticket. So I saw it again and although there were some immensely boring parts, I still thought it was good and the music was damn good. My dad on the other hand, thought it was the biggest pile of tosh he'd ever seen which is a lie. He's seen worse films. He still thought it was really bad though.

He looks like a cross between RuPaul and Max Headroom.
Allow Jude Law, he is a family friend and with Sadie Frost as his wife I cant really see him complaining about being straight.... He is actually very good in the film.
(purchased toady - new Dougals Copland book and Tony Hawk's Round Ireland With a Fridge. Not necessarily expecting either to prove in depth thought, just saying :)
Although there are some funny future-words.
Like Amphibicopter.
"Roboplegic Wrongcock"
