Okay, first of all, i have some questions to ask you:

Why do we write stuff?
Do we write about things that interests us?
Do we write just for fun?
Why?

Okay, first of all, where did you hear about Gameaday?
Was it in a mag, did one of your friend tell you about it?

Or did you just "find" it.

At once your in the Gameaday system, you get used to it, right?

I mean, at once you started to answer posts, write posts and maybe found out something about the others, you starts to visit the site every day or maybe many times a day?

So, what makes you visit the site, is it because they give away games, or is it for talking with other people?

And why do you want to talk to other people, is it because you like to talk, or is it because you have to do it to be a Regular?

And why do you want to be a Regular? Is it because you want to be respected as one of the best writers on the site or is it simply because you like the purple colour?

Anyway, the art of writing: Some people like to write, some people doesnīt. The people who like to write, write their own stuff right? And what do they who does not like to write? Do they copy stuff from other sites? Maybe. Maybe not.

Maybe they just write because they have to do it to win a game. What do you.

Do you answer to any topic in the forums. Or do you just answer to those you think is interesting?

What makes you think about something to write? Does it just pop up in your head, or do you think a lot before you think of something.

This idea, how do you write it? Do you just write on, or do you stop up sometimes to think about what you gonna write now?

Does it happens that you look back on earlier topics that won and tries to write somethings like it?

After you become a Regular, do you visit the site so ogten, or do you just take it easy and visit when you got an idea?

Where did i get this idea from, did it just pop up in my head or did i think a lot before i got it? Well, i donīt know, i just entered and started writing about something.

What do you do?

Thats a real sensable thing to say grix and it shows your maturity, but I can't help getting the feeling that if I said something like that in school I would get beatin up.

For the help of this, I'm going to ask for help from someone that might not seem appropriate for this topic.

He is called music.

I will be the first to admit that taste in music differs from person to person, and what music some people hate, others will love, so there is no perfect piece of music, although it's nice to think so.

The whole point of music, I feel, is to capture your imagination, and let the music inspire emotions.

Yeah, Craig David has a really catchy tune to it... but does it make you feel as if you're running away if you close your eyes?

The best piece of music I've heard allows me to float off my chair, which is superb. Stuff that bounces off you inside, completely freeing your mind.

Anyway. What's this got to do with writing? Everything.

Writing is the ability to grab someone, and make them feel how you want them to. Film does this, I suppose, but the best methods by far are music and writing. Not just fictional writing, though. A simple topic as one on here is good enough, trying to spark inspiration in people who read it, and lifting them emotionally enough to make them reply to it.

That's why I write. To free my mind, and spark inspiration in others. I enjoy it.

Most people come here to hcat and talk about games.

Winning games does give people incentive to make more detailed, imaginative and interesting posts though.

> Okay, first of all, i have some questions to ask you:

Communication. Ways of creating permanent records of data.

>Do we write about things that interests us?

I`m writing this, so I guess not.

Do we write just for fun?

Nope. Lectures aren`t fun.

>Why?

Too fast, too much info, and not enough hands/pens.

>Okay, first of all, where did you hear about Gameaday?

Wookiee Monster won, and everyone said "Well done on the GAD Wookiee" and I asked what it was... and Bingo.

>Was it in a mag, did one of your friend tell you about it?

Friends at SR posting.

>Or did you just "find" it.

Nope.

Get used to it? I just post what I want, in forums, not in "gameaday".

I mean, at once you started to answer posts, write posts and maybe
> found out something about the others, you starts to visit the site every day or
> maybe many times a day?

The forum site, yeh. Most days.

So, what makes you visit the site, is it because they
> give away games, or is it for talking with other people?

I`d be lying if I didn`t say that free games are a great incentive, but the chatting here is also great. The people you meet are all very nice. Its also useful to find out latest info.

And why do you want
> to talk to other people, is it because you like to talk, or is it because you
> have to do it to be a Regular?

I was a regular when they introduced tthe system, so it must be because I want to talk.

And why do you want to be a Regular? Is it
> because you want to be respected as one of the best writers on the site or is it
> simply because you like the purple colour?

I like the purple. Anyway, being a regular can mean the opposite. It can mean hopeless posts with no quality, just loads of quantity that led to regular status.

Anyway, the art of writing: Some
> people like to write, some people doesnīt. The people who like to write,

Its happened in the past, and people have been penalised for it, but on the whole that doesn`t happen these days. Everyone posts good stuff from themselves, not copied.

Maybe they just write
> because they have to do it to win a game. What do you.

I write because I have no real PS2 knowledge, so I ask Wookiee and co in the PS2 forum :-)

Do you answer to any
> topic in the forums. Or do you just answer to those you think is interesting?

I answered this one, so what do you think?

What makes you think about something to write? Does it just pop up in your
> head, or do you think a lot before you think of something.

It pops into my head, and straight out, and I end up writing something else.

This idea, how do
> you write it? Do you just write on, or do you stop up sometimes to think about
> what you gonna write now?

I just write on... and on... and on. Never usually stop except to press delete around spelling mistakes that I notice.

Does it happens that you look back on earlier
> topics that won and tries to write somethings like it?

Nope. Never really look unless it sounds like a good interesting post, in which case I`ll read it for what it is, not as a GAD win.

After you become a
> Regular, do you visit the site so ogten, or do you just take it easy and visit
> when you got an idea?

Whenever I can.

Where did i get this idea from, did it just pop up in
> my head or did i think a lot before i got it? Well, i donīt know, i just
> entered and started writing about something.

Me to. :-)

What do you do?

I`m an alcoholic policeman, currently suffering from work stress, and dehydration. (I was told to quit drinking).
