Do controllers from the US work with a UK playstation 2?

nothing in a UK PS2 will work from USA(unsure about it though)

Controllers are generally fine.. I have a jap controller on the uk DC... it'll be the same with the PS2.

Controllers should work without any problem as far as I know - the power for them comes from the console and not direct from the mains.

A UK PS2 will NOT play games bought from the US.
