Its hibernating...
Not dead, just resting over the summer lull, said Snuggly.
They have not said it won't come back, though it just goes to show who was really just posting to win and hopefully this has weeded out some of the time-wasters.
There has been a steady increase of new blood to the site and most of the old hands have stayed around, some of them more so. There are also still those who spam as well, unfortunately, but that's the way of the forums.
So, FOG Chat isn't dead, it's merely in a semi-hibernation, with the steadfast chatters hanging around still chatting about their favorite subject...

I chased a rolling tumbleweed through here the other day... I didn't catch up with it. A ghostly can-can dancer caught my eye, and I was tempted into the ghost town's saloon. The place was crawling with the undead drinking empty bottles of whiskey. Someone was playing the piano in the corner, but I couldn't see who. Later, I rode into the sunset on my invisible horse like the Lone Ranger [except I wasn't gay]. My gun was still loaded.
