do u fink that the new gat should be around the 1980`s or a more new type of game like GTA3 was??

i read a rumour that the new GTA will be in 2002 and based on liberty city. yeah right. i dought it very much.

Yeah i think it being set not too far in the future would be good, something like 2010 or soemthing like that.

I reckon they should make it maybe set a few years into the furute, this opens up the possibility of many jokes, and some cool guns and cars would be okay. However if they set it too far into the future, it'll just ruin things.

Maye they should do a special christmas edition. You could play the role of Santa and go on special missions. Steal a car and use it to deliver presents and such. Go head to head with the Easter Bunny and Cupid. take out the evil card companies that try to introduce new money making holidays and such.

I think the present day is best because it makes it feel more real, if its set in the 80's or 60's then the vast amount of gamers weren't around then.

I think that it would be a little too gimiky if it was set in the future. Maybe the added inclusion of a few super weapons would be good but there needs to be a fresher approach to it. Expand upon the types of missions and what you can do in the actual game world. Follow on form Vice City as that gave more freedom. More freedom = longer life, in theory.

I think it should move back to the present day, or maybe even into the future.
