this game looks cool, i think they have actually toned it down slightly, but i don't think it will make the game any worse though, one to watch, many mags/sites have said that it actually does live up to the hype
Do you think they will get away with releasing GTA3 without having to tone it down at all - It sounds awesome!!
The name Max Payne reminds me of that little cruddy guy from the kids adverts. Max Steel or plastic or summat. (sad innit?)

While it doesn't look anywhere near as realistic as Max Payne (and of course, it's not intended to) it *is* looking far better than the early screenshots.
I wasn't going to give this game a second look - the graphics looked bland, and I didn't really enjoy the original after having played Driver. Now, however, it's looking far more interesting.
