North America - 26,420,000 PS2s
Europe - 19,440,000 PS2s
Japan - 14,170,000 PS2s
Total software sales: 400,000,000 units globally from 2,000 titles.
What was Konami's excuse for not doing a PAL conversion of Suikoden 3 again?
As long as you don't say Tomb Raider: Angel Of Darkness, all will be fine. :-)

Just to continue my 'pick AfroJoe's thread apart' theme ;)
SOCOM?
Yes, big for Sony moneywise, but not really that big when their other 60 million sales figures are taken into consideration.
> Are people actually buying two?
After a couple of years and a few disc read errors... yes. :)
And the sales for all three areas are relatively similar. Gamecube is relying on Japanese (mostly) and American (lesser, but enough) sales, Xbox on European and American sales, while Sony is the only company who can safely say that they have the confidence from all three areas, so well done to them for that.
6 times more PS2s sold than Gamecubes or Xboxes then. They're both around the 10 million mark. Which is great news for Sony, although they haven't had a title worth shouting about released in months. Pro Evo 3 will change that, however.
3 times more PS2s than Gamecubes and Xboxes put together in the world. Are people actually buying two?
also i think konami couldn't be bothered to convert it in to loadsa different languages.
