Well, in my case it is. Last night around 2am my PC packed up for good. It's unsalvagable. It's dead. It is an ex-PC. So this is me typing via my PS2, neat huh? Good thing I remembered the brookfresh.co.uk url or else I'd never have managed to do this.
Neat thing one:
My USB keyboard runs fine, just plug it into the PS2 and go.
Neat thing two:
My USB mouse works fine also, but it's actually easier to use the analogue sticks on the control pad to navigate around.
Neat thing three:
No more pfaffing about with my PC, I'll just grab my e-mails of mum's PC downstairs when I need to.
Neat thing four:
Whilst surfing by here on my PS2 I noticed Dark Chronicle is in stock so I've laid an ambush for my postie tomorrow just in case he tries to deliver it.
The only drawback to surfing with a PS2 is that it doesn't remember much, triangle will take me back a webpage or so but I can't make bookmarks/favourites. On the upside, no more cookies :)

I nick the USB keyboard off my Mac when I'm putting cheat codes in - works a treat.
I could well get Dark Chronicle tomorrow. Apparently my subscription to NGC didn't go through so I've got £35 spare.

Have you tried Fdisking your computer?
This computer got an error a little while ago and I wasn't able to recover so I had to Fdisk it and wait a week and a half for Packard Bell to send me the recovery disks.
