Nintendo have done it again they they have produced a mini games console but this time it is better and more updated than before. GBA has arrived. And it rocks. The GBA has been around for quite some while but I decided to put in this in depth review of it anyway.
Think of it as a revolution in handheld gaming. 32bit (power of a playstation), full colour games with a 4 player link up feature means that this little handheld has the power to rule the world.
The set of games available at the launch of the GBA was quite a wide selection. mario Advance, F-Zero, Tony Hawks 2, Ready 2 Rumble, GT advance and many more it was to be the fastest selling new console ever. Then as the GBA went further into the world of classic games possibly the best title we will see for a few months or even years is Mario Kart Super Circuit. It is the best game i have played on a handheld ever and now after a week of playing I still can't put it down. Still more great games to come like Doom Advance and Banjo Kazooie : Grunty's Revenge makes me think that the future looks good for the GBA.
New features. Add ons. Creators can't stop making them. Since the launch of the GBA there have been so many add ons for it. Adaptors, Lights, cases and probably the most famous. The Link Cable. The link cable does what it says. It lets you link up with a friend to play all the multiplayer games and it is mostly done using just one cartridge. Now the link cable can be attached to another one to make a 4 player game available still only needing one catridge in most cases. Great for gamers that need to play with friends.
Now a review of the GBA wouldn't be complete without a percent for the games.
Here are some games I have put a percent on
Mario Advance - 93% - A great game and great launch title featuring Mario
F-Zero : Maximum Velocity - 91% - Really good update of the brilliant F-Zero-X on N64. Hard at first but a really good game
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 - 94% My favourite launch title. One of the only games in 3D out still. Looks as good a the PSX version.
Ready 2 Rumble - 76% - Not particularly good in any way but still and ok title.
Kuru Kuru Kururin - 82% - A strange game in which you control a stick that spins round a number of courses. Looks weird. Plays like a great puzzle game
Mario Kart : Super Circuit - 97% - my favourite game out yet. It is so good. 25 originally made courses and another 25 SNEs ones. 50 tracks. Who hoo.
That concludes my review of the GBA. So now if you don't have it, go buy it.
Thanks 4 reading (and chtting), Afro
Well I was gonna wait anyway cos I'm saving up for a Gamecube, so I guess it's just an excuse. But if the back-lit version is out next year I might just be tempted to get one.
2. Get over 100 coins to get the SNES tracks. That's all. No more.

Pros: Portable SNES games, good graphics, long battery life,
Cons: Mostly re released SNES games for the system, crappy shiny annoying screen, it might be portable but at my age if I was seen in public playing it I would most likely get the crap kicked out of me, the games are too expensive, I would rather be playing my N64.
Anyone wanna bye a GBA
