One of my friends has said that the GameCube will no doubt be rubbish!
This afternoon me, Tiddilywinks (member of ukchatforums) and my oher friend who isn't a member (as far as I know) were chatting about the future of gaming, and he said "The GameCube is gonna fail...."
I immediately asked him if he'd seen any screenshots or any clips of games for it and he said, adittedly, "No."
When I asked him what he based his statement on, he said, "It's their first console....."
Now I don't know who he thought the GameCube is made by, but I know Nintendo have released the Nes, SNES, Game & Watch, Game Boy, Game Girl, N64, Game Boy Pocket, Game Boy Color, Game Boy ADvance and Virtualboy.
He then went on to say how the X-box will easily beat it. He asked me if I'd seen any of the games for the X-box. I told him I had seen the multiformat snowboarding game SSX, and he said to me, "It looks much better than the GameCube version!"
I laughed!
How could he say that afer admitting he's never seen or heard of anything to do with GameCube?
Why, oh why didn't he think about what he was saying?
He joins in a conversation about videogames, but then makes himself sound stupid! I don't mind him giving his opinion, but you need facts to back up opinions.
I remember a certain "Steve Nintendo" on here who did similar. His bad mouthing the PS2 when he first joined made him a few enemies on the board, and even I was dissapointed with him! Especially when he claims to be a Nintendo fan, but made Nintendo fans look even more childish than other people already stereotype us.

The gamecube version is the same but conversions are never as good as the original, I've got a preview on the PSW DVD and it looks absolute class!!!!!!!!!

erm is SSX tricky on the GC the same as the PS2 one!!!!!!!

SSX is going to be multiplatform BUT PS2 get ssx tricky very very very soon (WOW) and the xbox and gamecube versions are ports. oh and ps2 have the original too muhahahahaha
