Shocking news just in .... adventurous people ask "Why has my God treated me so badly ?"
In a shocking new development this reporter has learned that many people are now questioning the Gods themselves.
In an exclusive interview for Special Reserve, Kevd was been granted access to a select few of these characters. Here are the findings....
Solid Snake is a normal guy. He goes about his business as he is ordered to, but now he has raised the issue that there seems to be some sort of God toying with his very existance.
Snake expressed his concern to me that he is unable to complete his current mission (discovering the whereabouts of the next Metal Gear, aboard a ship in New York) because of some malevolant God.
Snake maintains that to date he has been killed over 7319 times, always reappearing at the entrance to a room, back to life, to suffer on.
To make matters worse his method of death has become very erratic.
In one instance, Snake was hanging from the front of the ship, when suddenly he felt compelled to just leave go and fall into the water, only to reappear on the deck, with the screams of Otacon still ringing in his ears.
He has been shot in every way possible, and is getting very tired of the headshots that seem to be his most common method of death. Indeed at times he has lost all control of himself and walked straight into a booby trap lined with C4, thus sending him to the great VR Battleground in the sky.
'Why' he asks 'Why has my God treated me so badly'
In earlier days Snake was forced to let his girlfriend die, over and over again. The man is now an emotional wreck.
But it is not just the guys who are having a bad time of it.
Lara Croft, beautiful heiress, constantly finds herself caught in deadly situations over which she has non control.
'I just want a normal life' she says 'Very often I find myself compelled to jump into walls and cliff faces..... imagine my cosmetic bills ?'.
And death seems to stalk Ms.Croft at all turns in life.
'Why is it that sometimes when I near the edge of a high cliff, I feel the urge to just dive headfirst towards the rocks below knowing full well that there is no water to land in ?'
She has also been reported to have run through barbed wire and spikes on numerous occasions for no apparent reason.
This reported has to ask the question.... what is going on ? Why are these people suffering in this way ? Are the Gods angry, or just plain sadistic ?
Finally meet Jeremy. Jeremy is the last in a long line of lemming families. Jeremy is now in the mental hospital for demented animals.
'Every time I look around, my friends are all blowing up' he says 'Even when we can see a clear path to our door to freedom, I can sometimes hear maniacal laughter and suddenly we all start blowing up'.
Can anyone explain this strange phenomenon ?
