It's not only the gamers that are changing throughout time but it's the consoles, they've had to atapt to make us happy and to be able to play more powerful games!
I am going to talk about how consoles have changed since the beginning of their time, from single analogue control sticks to rumbling, dual analogue/digital pads with 14+ buttons! these consoles also handle upto '8 player' games!
The technology has moved on from computers which filled huge rooms to tiny things that we can put in our pockets, the first space rocket was launched with less technology!
we have more power in our hands while holding a controller than most people have seen for over 40,000,000 years!
but anyway, back to the present, consoles makers Sega, Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft have all had a go at making consoles, some more sucessful than others, but they all do different things, some use CDs some use cartridges, some have 4 controller ports built into the system, some have sockets for light guns! while the others are built in lots of colours! and some have slide cd trays.
Why are these things here? we never asked for hem, but like the invention of the tv, a new level of entertainment was needed, and a few great people rose to the challenge!
We have a lot to be grateful for, and if it wasn't for these people our lives would not have been the same, they make us socialise, we have expanded our brain power and understandings of things outside of our homes because of these consoles, we can play people on the other side the world without leaving your chair! you can drive tanks and shoot guns that you might never have seen before! you can drive you favourite car or become your favourite footballer!
there are no limitations to what you can 'achieve' and this consoles opens up many digfferent worlds for you to conquor!
