I have a PS2 and I am very happy with it. Its just that when Im in the nearest trade in shop, and I see the shelves and shelves of Megadrive games which bring back fond memories and I think "wow. I wonder how many games I could get for £40?" Its about 15. 15 quality megadrive games for one PS2 game. Add £15 for the Megadrive itself (my one is long gone) - thats £55 for a well equiped megadrive. Should I? Or the alternative is a SNES? Good Idea? do you guys think it will be worth it, or will I be throwing my money away? (keep in mind there are LOADS of top, must have PS2 games coming out very soon so cash is running thin)

Hey, I have a BBC Model B I'll trade for a Dreamcast.

Think of the retro cra..er..delights you can have with this.

Chucky Egg, Hunchback, Pedro the Gardener.

It has 32k you know, but you'd like the games or something.

Jungle Strike was good. The limo one was the first level I think.

The Olympic game was called Olympic Gold. Micro Machines was a quality game.

Anyway, A snes is worth it just for Mario kart alone. And perhaps Donkey kong country. The graphics are amazing for that era.

I was never really into the whole mega drive ting, but the sonic games were always a laugh, and it has a olyimpics game. cant remember what it was called, but it was a quality button basher. buckets of fun. oh yeah, and micro machines with extra ports on the cartridge, that was quality.

well worth it...for sure.

If you can find any of the Streets of Rage games then I would say go with the Megadrive.

Yes yes hell yes.

I bought a Megadrive the other day. Coincidence perhaps, but it's great. I'm happily drudging my way through Desert Strike at the moment... I forgot how utterly great the machine and it's games are.
