Well, it's about that simple. I plan to get some hardware soon and it's one of the main contenders.

If I was to get one to make the 3 console set, what games can I get for it that are better? I *don't* like FPS or stealth games.

Blinx, by the way, is poo :D

RPG's, adventures, platformers, racing games etc etc. Xbox Live is tempting, but PS2 is already online so it's a bit unnecessary.

So, g'won, convince me :D

I bought Phantom Crash and took it back the next morning. Definitley not my type of thing. There were so many cut scene style text talk that it became tedious within minutes. I also had a bash in the practice area and didn't like the weapon system. Think Mech Assault meets Tekken only in a Japanese style way. I didn't like it but it doesn't mean its rubbish. Probably a try before you buy game.

RPG/Adventure - Morrowind (about 14 quid now)
Platformers - Um not a lot. I enjoy Azurik but it's an acquired taste. (Should set you back no more than 14 quid)
Racing Game - Rallisport Challenge (also about 14 quid) or Burnout 2
Etc etc - Um. Halo, Serious Sam and Phantom crash.

If you can be a bit more specific about what games you like I can make some better recommendations.

If you get an Xbox you must get:
Star Wars KOTOR
Project Gotham Racing
Jet Set Radio Future
Amped
Sega GT

You should also give Halo a go.

Personally I prefer the original controller to the Controller S.
