I have justified reason to say this, as I am looking at thier line up and thinking "Wait a minute, same old same old"

I have to say, without a doubt, Mario Tennis on GC is just the N64 version but prettier (a bit like resident evil). Why o why couldnt they have just made thier console beckward compatable?

And look at Smash bro's, a sequel, a little different, but same basic game.

Mario kart?

The list can go on.

I happen to believe Nintendo are bad at decisions, no backward compatibility and no online mode? FOOLS!

What do you think?

Well given the Xbox has a better controller and is more powerful, is 4 player out of the box and has the lions share of FPS games...

It really has to be the big black box.

I would still consider the Xbox the better of the two.

The Xbox's hard disk is built in, and the console itself retails at £30 less than the Playstation 2 WITHOUT a hard disk. You'll probably have to pay £40 for the hard disk for the PS2, and so, for the total price of the console and hard disk (providing the prices stay the same) you could get an Xbox and two top games!

As well as that, there's the better power in the Xbox to take into consideration too.

I have a question Hedfix, Whe the PS2 has its harddisk, which console will you consider best?

Apparently online is in the works but it's not a priority.

Nintendo are focusing on their exclusives and rightly so since it's their exclusives which have made a lot of people buy the console in the first place.

I would hope a lot of Nintendo's energy is being focused on the Gamecube 2. Gamecube is certainly ticking along nicely, but if Nintendo want a bigger share it's 'back to the drawing board time'.

Personally I find the Xbox the best console for multiformat releases due to the power of the machine and the harddisk which means I don't have to fiddle around with memory cards.

Not a great hardship using memory cards you understand, but the harddisk means I can have 12 Morrowind saves if I want to and a hell of a lot character profiles and created levels without swapping memory cards about.

Nitendo have the most exclusives so it's only right they should capitalise on that.

It's the reason I bought a Cube.
