...does anyone know how you are able (if at all) to find a location where someone is logged on... like a computer and where it is in the world??
Me and a mate have had a trouble with a hacker, and were getting so pi**ed off with this dude, sending me so much gay-subjected mail and all, it's sick, and saying things I won't repeat. We really wanna get him done by Hotmail or the propor othoroties, as this is just harrasment, or something.
Please, can anyone help???

You need to find out the IP address, as detailed below. Then, do a whois lookup, and if you're lucky, you'll get a server name. Contact the server, give the IP and time of dayu it was sent, tell them what's going on and they'll sort it.
However, don't expect more than a cancellation of account. In the eyes of the law, it's not too serious.

You can find out alot of information about the person who senders you emails if you know what you are looking for.
To get the required information that you want. Do the following :-
1. Log in to your hotmail account.
2. Go to the options link and click on it.
3. Look for the section called Addition Options, and then select the sub link Mail Display Settings
4. The go to the bottom option called Message Headers and either select Full Or Advance and click on ok.
5. Now go in to your inbox and select the required e mail and you will see that you have got a lot more information up ranging from the IP address to what operating system it was used to send the e mail.
