While on my dinner break at Uni today, i took a walk into Sheffield City center to go to Greggs, and look around some of the shops before i had to head back.
One shop being *enter a gaming shop name here*.
Now the shop i went into, had all the games on the shelves split into Genre (quite clever this i thought), so i went over to the sports section, where they had all the different sports, and there was also a young lad looking at the football games.
Now the poor fellow looked stuck, he had 3 games in his clutches, and kept looking at the back, and the front, then going onto the next game, and after a quick glance, i saw he was looking at Pro Evo, TIF and Fifa 2001. All for around £15 i think.
He eventually put 2 back after a minute or so...and kept hold of...Fifa 2001, and went off to pay.
And why am i evil? Because i let him, i let him buy the worse game out of the 3. Im evil because i let him buy that Fifa game.
And do i care? No.
He had a Sheff Utd Shirt on. :P

In Game the other day (I don't mind giving the name because I'm never buying anything there ever again [and in fact only have on one occasion anyway] - its because they say "lowest price guarentee". I asked them about that, and they gave a list of 'exceptions' including Special Reserve. They are far cheaper, but oh, they're mail order {apart from all the shops they have of course}, so erm, we can't match that. The list went on, and eventually, as I guessed, there were only a handful of shops left on the planet that actually managed higher prices (p.s. high WHSmiths!)).
Erm, where was I? Oh yeh, Game. I was in Game the other day, and somebody was looking at at platform games. In the one hand, Jak and Daxter, only £18.99 now its a Platinum game, and in the other hand Ty The Tazmanian Tiger, on sale for £19.99. Despite this person being over 15 by my reckoning, the outcome was as you can probably guess.
It's the worst interpretation of Football i have ever experienced in my whole lifetime, and I spent an awful lot of time on Actua Soccer. Crap passing, poor shooting and stop/start gameplay? Utter Balls.
Though I didn't think much of TIF's attempts at silky gameplay, and saw it as a poor substitue for a decent footy game.
PES is class, however

Other Fifa's (minus SNES '96 and PS1 '98) were absolute balls, although i did spend a lot of time on the 2000 version, waiting for Christmas one year.
'It's a Goal!'
And teams couldn't be mixed race - it was either all white or all black.
Genius.
i used to play seasons at a tiume with my mate...
Two mums looking for Harry Potter. I wanted to slap them one.
