The "General Games Chat" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
Just an idea to maybe help the site load a bit quicker, as it can take a little while on my modem.
How about having the left hand menu bar thingy (the blue one) and the top bar with the adverts as frames, that way, they won't have to be downloaded each time you click on a link.
I know that in the actual threads the left hand bar isn't there, but if you want to go from the Chat forum to Life & Sport, then you have to go to the main page with the menu on.
Also, do you not class football as a sport? It's just the name for one of the forums is Life, Sport & Football, as if football isn't a proper sport.
Just a couple of thoughts.

Generally, people dont like using frames on their sites for quite a few reasons.
You cannot add a framed page to your bookmarks, because it will pick up the frame layout page, containing the default frames
They are not search engine friendly
If people link to a framed page, the screen that pops up will not have he menu on it.
They smell of old people.
